1. Construction of new tank pits

In compliance with environmental requirements entire tank pits can be constructed to be impermeable to liquids. Verwater executes the total project, including the installation of drainage, sewerage, pipetracks, bundwalls, liquid separators and sand trap pits.

2. Construction of tankfoundations

Verwater can offer her services right from the start: prepare soil investigations, offer advice for the construction of the tank foundation, soil improvements and finishing of tank pads.

3. The repair of foundations underneath tanks in a jacked position.

Existing tank foundations are being reconstructed underneath the tank in a jacked position. As working under a jacked tank is not a routine job, we have highly skilled personnel and special equipment. Based on records of settlements in the previous periods we can give reliable advice for the layout of the tankfoundation to be made.

4. Soil protection

For every situation Verwater has the most suitable protective solution to prevent contamination getting into the subsoil or groundwater. Secondary containment solutions like HDPE-liners, glass fibre reinforced liners and bentonite or clay closures are applied by our experts.
