AFS extension of pump pit

For Aircraft Fuel Supply (AFS) we have engineered, prefabricated and mounted the piping for the extension of the pump pit from 3 pumps to 6 connected pumps. The works include the civil activities, delivery of bellows, aviation filter water separators, pumps (300m³/h), piping,  valves, in- and external coating, constructions and gratings.

The storage location of Aircraft Fuel Supply at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has a daily throughput of 12 million liters. Transportation of the Aviation Fuel (Jet A-1) from the storage terminal to the airport is done mainly by underground pipelines and in a minor way by refuellers (trucks).
