ATPC Antwerp retrofit of the Petroplus site

At the end of 2010 Verwater was invited by VTTI to find a way to “retrofit” the Petroplus site in Antwerp. By working close together we have defined the scope of 24 tanks. In this scope we have foreseen for a new firefighting system, new Dome Aluminum roof, internal lining and jacking of 50% of the tanks. Starting in one of the coldest winters of this decennia we had our first hand-over in May 2011.

With a “new’ tankfarm coming live at the Q2 of 2011, VTTI started the REVAMP project early. The revamp project is mainly focused on the new interconnecting piping and the pump manifolds in area of tank pit 600 & 700.
