Back in Malaysia...

In Port Dickson Shell Malaysia four new storage tanks are being built. Two tanks with a diameter and height of 10,5mx13,5m, one of 10,6mx16m and one of 12mx16m. These are constructed together with our partner KNM for the Blending Plant of Luboil.

Due to the difficult accessibility of the site, we chose to use the Verwater tank jacking system and a unique support structure designed for this situation. The wall plate is loaded on one side of the tank and will be transported around the tank to be brought to it’s place.

Additional advantages to this unique way of construction are; an entry in and out of the tank, good natural ventilation and there are no large cranes needed.
