Who are we looking for?

An experienced calculator with a passion for civil projects, someone who not only calculates but also thinks along and helps make a real difference.

Function

• Studying the client's specifications and carrying out site visits if necessary.
• Drawing up a plan of approach in consultation with the Project Manager and in accordance with the client's request.

• Refine and optimize calculation sheets.

• Integrate standard construction norms (also beyond the (petro)chemical industry).

• For larger tenders, analyze project files and provide a technical assessment of the best project approach.

• Thinking along about methods to carry out the work more efficiently or at a higher level of quality.
• Determining the price for the requested work as accurately as possible.
• Draft clear and consistent quotations in consultation with our sales department.

Profile

• You hold a degree in Civil Engineering (Industrial Engineer Construction) or equivalent.

• You have at least 10 years of experience in a similar role.

• Experience or knowledge of public tenders is a strong asset.

• You are comfortable with numbers and have solid technical insight.

• You are proficient in MS Office.

• You speak fluent Dutch and have a good command of English; knowledge of French is a plus.

• You are a team player but can also work independently and manage your own planning.

• You are flexible, stress-resistant, and have a strong eye for detail.

• You hold a valid VCA-basic certificate.
