As an HR Advisor at Verwater Group B.V., you will be responsible for supporting management in managing and developing staff. Preferably, you have experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and processes. You contribute to the renewal and development of the personnel policy. You also have knowledge and experience of HR systems such as Afas and experience with Outlook, Excel and Word is a plus. As an HR Adviser, you work a lot with personnel data. It is therefore important that you as a person have integrity, are accurate and meticulous and that you have a service-oriented attitude.

The team works completely digitally and hybrid working will increasingly become part of the work. Training will mainly take place at the Rotterdam office by colleagues. We are a developing department.

What will you be doing?

The main focus will be on the HR process.

This includes.

• Acting as a point of contact for employees regarding personnel matters;
• Advising on and optimising a company's personnel and organisational policy;
• Recruiting and selecting job applicants and conducting job interviews;
• Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, such as social legislation and employment contracts.;
• Resolving conflicts between employees and/or employers;
• Giving advice in the run-up to a reorganisation or round of redundancies;
• Setting up a development plan for employers and employees.;
• Performing administrative tasks such as payroll administration and writing vacancy texts.

In addition to the above competences:

• At least a completed Higher pofessional degree in Human Resource Management;
• At least 3 or 5 years' experience in an HR role;
• Some knowledge of employment law and legislation;
• Excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills;
• Leadership qualities;
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages;
• Able to multitask and prioritise;
• Have an affinity for ICT and are more than handy with common software such as Excel;
• Knowledge and experience of Afas and experience with Outlook is a plus
