LBC Tank Terminals is making good progress! And so are we!

Yesterday we were able to sign another major order together with Erik Kleine, General Manager Europe of LBC. An honour and confirmation of mutual trust.

The third phase of the Rainbow project has started in Rotterdam. LBC Tank Terminals is thus expanding its terminal to a total storage capacity of 280,000 m3 in 2026. A milestone and part of an ambitious programme to grow.

Because of the schedule, we have split the construction over two teams. Our construction team in Belgium will build eight tanks for tank pit 11. We will realise this in Antwerp and then transport the tanks to Rotterdam. Our team on RDM will build 12 tanks for tank pit 12. We are happy, proud and enormously driven to carry out this project to the full satisfaction of LBC. And yes, also a bit of healthy excitement!

In February, we started the tender for this project. A tender that demanded a lot from our people in terms of time pressure. But a few days before submission, when we were reviewing everything together, we looked out the window at our place on Droogdokweg and what did we see? Right! I believe in this, an omen and at the time a beacon to cross the finish line!
