Verwater has been working at Total since 2007 and has been the general maintenance partner of TotalEnergies Antwerp since 2012. The Maintenance contract between TotalEnergies and Verwater was renewed again in 2021. TotalEnergies indicated that Verwater's openness and approach was definitely a reason to continue with Verwater. One of the decisive reasons was that all maintenance contractors work under Verwater's supervision. Giving Verwater "the key" minimizes lost time, allowing TotalEnergies to deliver projects 20 to 25 per cent faster. Within the contract, Verwater is ultimately responsible for the complete package of tank maintenance: civil, mechanical and jacking work, piping, coating, insulation, scaffolding and fire watch.
