VERWATER & MOT

MOT is a joint venture, including Shell, Exxon, BP, Q8, Zeeland Refinery, and Vopak. This terminal stands as one of the largest crude oil storage facilities globally, boasting a total capacity of 4.6 million cubic meters. Verwater has held the maintenance contract for significant tank activities on 39 storage tanks since 2007, each with an average diameter of 83 meters and height of 22 meters. Operating under the MOVE partnership, MOT and Verwater collaborate to mutually benefit from shared experiences, knowledge, and the creation of advantageous situations. This partnership has yielded impressive outcomes, including zero HSE incidents in recent years, a reduction in throughput time from 58 to 32 weeks, an expanded scope within a constrained budget, a HOTT rating of 74%, and the development of three collaborative innovations annually.
