On May 2, 2017, MOT and thus MOVE, the alliance with Verwater, reached a milestone of five years accident-free on site. The MOT and MOVE team are grateful to everyone for their dedication and alertness that made this awesome result possible.
After signing a contract on the 1st of May with GS Engineering & Construction for a Tank jacking project in Kuwait, Verwater team started with engineering, mobilization and jacking works on site in June 2016.
Verwater has been jacking tanks in Oman since 1974, and has recently been increasing its activities with several new project wins.
During last year Verwater Singapore jacked 3 tanks at the Singapore Refining Company. Tank sizes varied between 54 and 79 meter diameter.
The Belgium and France divisions of Verwater teamed up for a new project in Paris, France. For ExxonMobil in South of Paris (Villeneuve Le Roi) Verwater is awarded with maintenance work for 2 tanks. One tank with a diameter of 20 meter and one with a diameter of 16 meter.
Early 2010 there was an integrated team created between VTTI, Verwater and several subcontractors. The team created an objective to complete the ETT III project in January 2012. To achieve that goal, in October 2011 the project accelerated due to double shifts, day and night.
